We're now located in Cold Spring, New York on Main Street in The Shoppes, a "shop within a shop" concept where you can find art, fashion, candles, jewelry, gourmet foods and more. We put together this guide to spending a day or a long weekend in this picturesque village nestled along the great Hudson River just 50 miles north of NYC.

A History of Miniatures: A Talk with D. Thomas

Join us for an afternoon at the Hudson River Museum on Saturday, December 9th from 3:00-4:30pm - - we'll be giving a talk on the History of Miniatures and the fixation some of us (who me???) have with these tiny treasures. Miniaturist James Opher "breathes new life" into heirloom dollhouses using reclaimed materials and a little DIY magic. See his work on display at Historic Kenmore in Fredericksburg, Virginia as part of its annual “A Wee Christmas at Kenmore,” dollhouse and miniatures show.
